Wilhelm G. Solheim (1924- ) conducted extensive anthropological work in southeast Asia. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1957, earned his Ph. D. from the University of Arizona in 1960 and became professor of anthropology at the University of Hawaii. Solheim also served as editor of "Asian Perspectives." From the description of Wilhelm G.
